TRUFFLE HUMMUS

 

SERVES

 

2 ½ cups

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 large garlic clove 

2 cups canned chickpeas, drained

½ teaspoon salt 

⅓ cup tahini (sesame paste) 

4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 

2 tablespoons water or liquid from chickpeas 

1 teaspoons  MANUKA ROYALE Truffle Manuka Honey

 

 

PREPARATION

 

  1. In a food processor, fitted with a steel blade, add the garlic and process until minced.
  2. Add the chickpeas, salt, tahini, lemon juice and MANUKA ROYALE Truflle Honey to the food processor and pulse until the hummus is pureed. If the hummus is too thick, slowly add a bit of water.
  3. Taste, for seasoning, and served chilled or at room temperature with your favorite crackers or vegetables. The truffle hummus will last for 1 week stored in the refrigerator.
